Sunnybank Trust: Choices Deputy Manager
Epsom, Surrey (hybrid working from home, office & local venues).
Hours to include working on Thursdays and Fridays.
14 hours per week. Up to £26 000 pa FTE
The Sunnybank Trust is a vibrant community charity that believes that people with learning disabilities should be able to live without prejudice and have confidence, opportunities, and control over their own lives. You will be joining the charity as it moves towards becoming more inclusive and promotes the skills and abilities of those with learning disabilities.
The post holder will help us achieve our vision by contributing to the work of the Choices Service by supporting adults with learning disabilities to participate in activities, clubs and events run by the charity that promotes friendships, new skills, increase in confidence and social skills and development.
The Choices activities are hybrid, with most delivered in person, but with a few online. The Sunnybank Trust supports a wide range of partners from those living in residential homes, to others living in supported living, at home or in the community without support. Some of the clubs and activities are aimed at certain groups such as those in the Residential Homes or who need greater levels of support or with young adults who are either living with families or in supported living.
Teamwork, coproduction, information sharing, collaboration and best practice underpin this service.
Working with the Choices Manager and the two Choices Officers, the role will be expected to;
Induction, training and ongoing support will be given for all aspects of the role. Staff benefits include flexible working, working from home where suitable and a pension scheme. Parking within 10 minutes’ walk of Epsom office.

Work Stress Solutions: Volunteer Facilitators
Could you spare 3 hours a week to make a tangible difference to someone’s life?
We are looking for confident individuals who can assist in delivering our courses. You will be supporting our clients with improving their numeracy, literacy, and digital skills. We also require facilitators to run our Realise Your Potential, Make Technology Work For You, and Volunteer Work Experience groups.
